My path to United Call Centers

I worked as a salesman elsewhere, but it was very stressful. I was looking for a new opportunity, where the most important factor for me was to be a place where the leaders tolerate that, unfortunately, I have had an accident, therefore I am an employee with disabilities. It was also important that I wanted to stay in Miskolc and, of course to be well-paid. One of my friend's friend recommended the United Call Centers who have already worked here at the time. I saw potential in it and I hoped that I would work in a good team - and it came true.

My unforgettable moment

My hands and feet trembled during the first call! Joking aside: the first success. It felt so good that I was not the only one who was satisfied with my own success but also my manager and colleagues, honestly. This is how we are doing, here we are happy for other’s success too.

Why do I like working here?

Unlike the others, I have not been working here for a long time, but I can tell you that when there is a hard day, everyone is tired, out there is dark, and then I can talk to a kind person who expresses that I am likable, it feels good. It's not an ordinary thing.

My Goals

I came here to earn money. My goal is to perform as well as possible, the competition motivates me.

My path to United Call Centers

I was looking for a summer job randomly in the summer of 2014 because I needed the money. I was hired for a questionnaire campaign, but I liked the company so much that I am still here. Since then I have been working in sales as I prefer sales to market research.

My unforgettable moment

The Christmas party at Vigadó! UCC thought about the young people, the music was good. The differences disappeared, we partied together with the leaders.

Why do I like working here?

I like the most that I can come when I am free. It is taken into account that I attend university and often have other matters to attend. I settled in easily and I have friends from here.

My Goals

I am studying trade and marketing, but I have no concrete plan yet. I want to be successful and try myself in Budapest. Based on my experiences here, I will write a thesis about one of the partner companies of United Call Centers.

My path to United Call Centers

Previously I worked as a salesperson and administrator. I heard about the opportunity at United Call Centers from the Challenge Foundation because they deal with employees with disabilities. I was looking for a sedentary job, which does not involve physical stress because I would not be able to handle that due to my illness. I was worried about the job interview because I never had to use a phone during my work before. Now I just laugh on it, as my fear was unsubstantiated.

My unforgettable moment

I just got home from my previous workplace when Andi called me that the interview was successful! I was very happy that I could come to work here!

Why do I like working here?

The team is great we can talk about everything. The management helps me with any kind of problems. 99% of people working here are healthy, but they don't hurt me because I'm different. Everyone is kind and nice. My disabled friends wonder why I work and they often ask: Is this good for you? My answer is always: Good! I'm proud of this.

I want a stable job to raise my child. Yeah and I'll get well!

My path to United Call Centers

Before, I had been working for another call center for a month. I applied here in October 2013, because I thought it was a stable job, which can be done over a long time. The interview was a completely positive experience: basic communication skills, learning ability, monotony tolerance, and motivational factors were tested.

My unforgettable moment

The learning period! After the exciting and well-structured training, I was with an expert colleague who could make the on-the-job period very enjoyable. I have learned from my mentor how to deal with customers and that we are loyal to the partner company in all circumstances.

Why do I like working here?

The community is great, you can talk and tell a joke to anybody, this is like a small family. We know each other and look for each other’s company in the breaks. The working hours are flexible therefore I have had hardly any absence during the two years.

My Goals

Degree and then creating something that is permanent and makes me feel good! Just like here: I can help people by providing them with better services or just to have a pleasant conversation with our clients.

My path to United Call Centers

2011-ben egy másik call centerben dolgoztam, de több okból sem voltam megelégedve, például több alkalommal is késett a fizetés. Emiatt munka mellett kerestem egy másik lehetőséget és találtam is, azóta itt dolgozom.

My unforgettable moment

I won the United Call Centers Quality Award in 2013, which was an unforgettable moment for me, and not just because of financial recognition but also because it was a good feedback about my job which I had been doing for two years then.

Why do I like working here?

Stable, predictable workplace. So far, I have received my salary about fifty times and I always got that on time. The salary is very competitive if you take your job seriously. It is not a disadvantage here that I have a child and he is the most important for me. We have a lot of fun here, and I have had a lot of memorable calls.

My Goals

It is important for me to live a balanced, happy life without being nervous. I want to travel more and see the world. I like dealing with business clients, I will go on doing it.

My path to United Call Centers

One of my friends told me to try the United Call Centers in 2014. She had been here for years and had been very positive about the company. Because of her, I tried myself on the job interview and I really liked the honest, kind atmosphere. Unfortunately, for personal reasons, I was not able to come to work in that year, but after a year it was my first destination, I applied again and it was successful.

My unforgettable moment

I feel honored when I am asked to try new work processes. In a short period of time, I have achieved such a huge success that new workplaces were created. It means a lot for me that I could help others.

Why do I like working here?

The UCC knows what is suitable for me, what I can do: thanks to the competence measurement. My managers also use their leadership skills in a very motivating way. This is my first job where I can be myself. I like everyone here, they are friendly, youthful, helpful. I learn a lot here and after work, I still have enough energy to study.

My Goals

I want a stable job and something that can be done cheerfully, so I would like to stay at the United Call Centers! Later, if I could, I would like to use my financial studies here. Within a year I would like to take an intermediate language exam in English and German.
